Sugar Sand Park offers children fun and exciting birthday programs! Parents and children choose one of our wonderful programs. All parties will include the selected 1-hour program and an additional 45 minutes of celebration time (plus 15 minutes for cleanup). Sugar Sand Park Community Center will provide tables and chairs for up to 12 or 15 participants, depending on program, and up to 15 adults. Decorations, cakes, tableware, etc. are not supplied so don’t forget your child’s favorite theme or color! Because we schedule multiple parties during the day, start and end times are firm.
Parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays only, subject to Provider and room availability. You and the Provider will have access to the room for setup/decorating no earlier than 12:30pm-1:30pm. The program will begin promptly at 1:30pm. You will then have the room from 2:30pm-3:30pm for the remainder of your celebration (cake, gifts, etc.) and cleanup. The room must be vacated no later than 3:30pm.
You will have access to our kitchen for use of the refrigerator, freezer, sink, microwave, and ice machine. We provide tables and chairs for the party and program, you will have to provide all other decorations and/or supplies.
Per City Ordinance (Chapter 9, Article VII.-Waste Reduction) the use of balloons, confetti and polystyrene foam (Styrofoam) is prohibited on City property. You can, however, decorate otherwise with colorful tablecloths, banners, streamers and other items.
